Lore Mode — Trial VI
Identify the Character from Ancient Lore Passages
Lore Mode draws directly from Elden Ring's rich text corpus — item descriptions, NPC dialogue, and lore
passages — to present a character described in oblique, evocative language without ever naming them
outright. Each wrong guess reveals an additional sentence from the same source, granting more context
to piece together the identity of the figure being described.
How to Play Lore Mode
- Read the lore passage carefully — every word and phrase is a potential clue.
- Consider what items, events, relationships, or locations the passage references.
- Type the name of the character you believe the passage describes and submit.
- Each wrong guess reveals an additional sentence from the same lore source.
- Fewer guesses means a higher final score.
Tips & Strategies
- Rune-related language and references to shattering events indicate demigod-tier characters.
- Erdtree, Golden Order, and Marika references place a character within the mainline story.
- Rot, Scarlet Rot, flowers, and bloom imagery strongly suggest Malenia, Millicent, or Rot-adjacent figures.
- Gravity, stars, and constellation references point toward Radahn, Astel, or Alabaster Lord characters.
- Cuckoo, Carian moon, and glintstone language belongs to Raya Lucaria figures and the lunar faction.
- Words like "beloved," "remembrance," and "grace" appearing together indicate major boss characters.
Lore Sources
